The workshops take place at my shared studio space in an industrial building in Zurich Hard. The group consists of 8 - 10 people and its always a very fun and personal atmosphere. All genders and - almost ;) - all ages (min. 14 years) are welcome! My assistant, Jana, hosts the workshops together with me. We work with Swiss organic sheep’s wool from a family-run wool spinning mill in graubünden.
Beginners Workshop
In this 4-hour workshop you will learn how to stretch a canvas, how the different tufting guns work, you will get links to tufting websites, tutorials and material sourcing and you will make your own small tufting of approx. 35x35 cm. Finally, you will learn how to finish the tufting and can take it home in the evening. We work exclusively with organic sheep’s wool, which is produced in a family-run wool spinning mill in Graubünden.
The workshop is held in German and/or English.

Advanced Workshop
After you have attended the workshop for beginners, you can make a slightly larger tufting of approx. 45x35 cm. You can skip the instructions an start working right away, so more details and additional work like streching the canvas, shaving and working with glitter yarn (and other additional materials) will be possible.
If you join for two workshops in a row, you can use a bigger canvas of 60x60 cm (depending on the design, details you may have to join a third time. We work exclusively with organic sheep’s wool, which is produced in a family-run wool spinning mill in Graubünden, some recycled cotton and glitter yarn.
The workshop is held in German and/or English.
